Davies Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading insurance organization that is adding several professionals to its liability claims team and seeking a Liability Adjuster / Claims Counsel with strong Employment Practices Liability (EPL) experience to manage complex EPL claims in a fully remote, temp-to-hire role.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced claims professional or attorney with a background in Employment Practices Liability who enjoys handling complex workplace-related claims and providing strategic guidance on claim resolution. What You'll Do

• Manage Employment Practices Liability (EPL) claims from investigation through resolution
• Handle claims involving wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and workplace accommodation issues
• Analyze coverage and interpret policy provisions to determine claim exposure and coverage positions
• Collaborate with defense counsel, insureds, and internal stakeholders to develop litigation and resolution strategies
• Evaluate liability and damages, establish reserves, and negotiate settlements
• Draft or review coverage correspondence, including Reservation of Rights (ROR) letters and coverage determinations

Required Experience

• 5 years of experience handling Employment Practices Liability (EPL) claims OR Juris Doctor (JD)
• Direct experience managing claims involving:
• Wrongful Termination
• Harassment
• Discrimination (including gender, disability, medical condition, and other protected classes)
• Retaliation
• Experience overseeing litigated claims and working with defense counsel
• Strong coverage analysis and policy interpretation skills
• Ability to independently manage a complex claim inventory from inception through resolution

Preferred Experience

• Professional Liability claims experience
• Exposure to Wage & Hour claims (experience not required, but interest in gaining exposure is welcomed)
• Experience working closely with coverage counsel and legal teams
